PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery comprising a collector lead part having such a shape that a welding area is kept uniform even if a position at which an electrode rod presses on the collector lead becomes misaligned and a sufficient welding strength is ensured in a welding step for connecting an electrode body to a sealing body and an outer case. SOLUTION: The battery comprises the outer case having an opening and also functioning as a terminal of one of electrodes, and the electrode body disposed in the outer case. The opening is sealed by the sealing body that also functions as a terminal of the other one of the electrodes. At least either the one of the electrodes of the electrode body and the outer case or the other one of the electrodes and the sealing body are welded to each other with a collector disposed in between. The collector comprises a main body connected to an end of the electrode body and a collecting lead extending from the main body and welded to the sealing body or the outer case. A plurality of projections are provided at an end of the collecting lead, and the height of the projection located at the center is greater than the height of the projections located at the periphery.
