PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproducing apparatus capable of synchronizing exhibit processing of a video audio stream with that of multimedia data, when generating the contents on the premise of recording. SOLUTION: The content reproducing apparatus stores a time stamp attached AV stream and a multimedia data stream distributed by a digital television broadcast into a storage means 101, such as a hard disk and synchronously reproduces the respective streams with each other. When the time stamp attached contents stream, on which both streams are multiplexed and to which the time stamp is attached is stored, the time stamp is used in place of a time clock to trigger an event described as contents.
