PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of utilizing the storage region of a memory effectively. SOLUTION: A printer device 10 composes a line memory 222 by combining a plurality of small storage regions according to the resolution (600 dpi/2400 dpi) of inputted image data, the number of gradations (multiple value/binary value). and data structure (the number of packings of a pixel). The device stores the inputted image data in the line memory 222. Then, the printer device 10 reads image data stored in the line memory 222 for each processing unit (equivalent to one line of 600 dpi images) in which the area of a printed partial image becomes constant, and transfers the image data to an image processor 230 at a later stage.
