PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device whereby a performer can recognize presented information, even if the presented information presented for the non-photographing period of a photographing camera is colored and enhancing the visibility of the presented information. SOLUTION: The video display device 10 includes a video time division means 11 for time-dividing one field interval of a video image, on the basis of a synchronizing signal with the photographing camera; a video display switching means 13 for switching the display or the non-display of the time division video image, within a photographing period or a non-photographing period to the time division video image time-divided by the video time division means 11; a video display means 15 for displaying the time division video image for display switched by the video display switching means 13; a color light display switching means 14 for switching of the display or the non-display of the color light within the photographing period or the non-photographing period; and a color light display means 16 for displaying the color light for a color light display period, switched by the color light display switching means 14.
