PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field effect device using organic semiconductor single-crystal having excellent mechanical flexibility, compatibility with light emitting element or light receiving element, and price competitiveness, and having the degree of freedom of selecting various organic semiconductor materials, and a steep switching characteristic, and a method for manufacturing the device. SOLUTION: The field effect device comprises a substrate having an insulating film and a plurality of electrodes, and an organic semiconductor single-crystal material prepared separately from the substrate, wherein the insulating film is adhered to the organic semiconductor single-crystal material by electrostatic attraction or mechanical strength. In the method for manufacturing the field effect device, the substrate having the insulating film and the plurality of electrodes, and the organic semiconductor single-crystal material are prepared separately, and then the organic semiconductor single-crystal material is adhered to the insulating film softly by electrostatic attraction or mechanical strength.
