PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device which can prevent another disk from entering when it already clamps a disk and reduce its dimensions and its overall profile. SOLUTION: A disk reproducing device 10 transfers a disk 11 and reproduce this disk 11. It has a disk insertion hole 19, a roller arm 30 which can switch the height of a transfer roller 40 to the disk transfer position where the roller contacts the disk 11 and to the clamp position apart from the disk 11, and an insertion preventing means 60 having a stop wall 63 provided rotatably on the roller arm 30 to stop the disk 11 entering through the insertion hole 19. Further, it has a position changing means 18, 30, and 67 to turn and move the insertion preventing mens 60 to a 1st position to transfer the disk by opening the disk insertion hole 19 by the stop wall 63, and to a 2nd position for clamping the disk by closing the hole 19 by the stop wall 63.
