PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cogging torque measurement of a motor which is delivered to stand at a measuring position, using of upper part and lower part spindles as an automatic support set and receiving predetermined rotation and appropriate for mass production. SOLUTION: The upper part spindle 4 for receiving a motor end to be measured at an upper part of a measuring position 2a facing against the motor 3 to be measured with a motor shaft 3a set downward and the lower part spindle 8 with a chuck mechanism 7 to which the motor shaft is directly fit at a lower part with a predetermined gap in between are placed face to face. A rod 10 for chuck cancel vertically inserted through the lower spindle 8 and a drive pulley 9 for cogging torque at a lower end is actuated by a cylinder 11 for rod lift. A motor bearing hole 13 can be freely fit with the motor shaft 3a by lifting up and down a chuck die part 14 of the chuck mechanism 7 at an end of the rod 10 and a large capacity cogging sensor 18 as a first cogging sensor is provided at a middle position of the lower spindle 8.
