PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water remaining inside a steam generator (pot) from rotting while reducing amount of water consumption and user's burden in water supply to keep the inside of a steam generation means in a sanitary condition. SOLUTION: Water drain means (water drain pipe, water drain valve 54) for draining water inside the pot are provided. A controller 80 drains water inside the pot by the water drain means when satisfying any of the following conditions: (1) when residence time counted in a first counting part 101a reaches predetermined time, (2) when total time after start of water supply counted in a second counting part 101b reaches predetermined time, (3) total amount of supply water into the pot detected in a supply water amount detection part 102 reaches predetermined amount, (4) total water supply time into the pot counted in a third counting part 101c reaches predetermined time, and (5) instruction for water drain is inputted by an operation panel 13.
