PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air heating machine furnished with an ion generating device embodied in a compact construction and having a high ion generating efficiency. SOLUTION: The air heating machine 1 furnished with the ion generating device is equipped with a fan 2, a duct 3 leading the wind from the fan 2 to a blowout hole 4, an air heater 5 installed inside the duct 3, and the ion generating device 8 to generate ions in the air flowing in the duct 3. An electric insulating plate 5a of the air heater 5 is arranged along the air flowing direction in the duct 3 so as to partition inside the duct 3 into a blowing passage 6 for the air heater and a blowing passage 7 for the ion generating device 8.
