PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam cooking device having a configuration of a circulation system for supplying steam into a heating chamber having short distance of a path and capable of reducing pressure loss and heat loss to improve efficiency of the steam cooking device. SOLUTION: Steam generated in a steam generator 50 is supplied into the heating chamber 20 through an external circulation path 30. The steam generator 50 includes a suction port 28 formed on one side wall of the heating chamber 20, a blower device 25 arranged in close proximity to an outer face on the same one side wall and sucking gas from the suction port 28 to form air stream flowing in the external circulation path 30, and the steam generator 50 arranged in close proximity to the outer face on the same one side wall and supplying steam to air stream flowing in the external circulation path 30. The external circulation path 30 forms air stream passing through a steam suction part in an upper part of the steam generator 20. The external circulation path 30 after passing through the steam generator 50 is connected with a subcavity 40 provided adjacent to the heating chamber 20 to supply steam into the heating chamber 20 through the subcavity 40.
