PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the working efficiency when assembling an instrument. SOLUTION: In the vehicular instrument with control circuits having various kinds of control functions mounted thereon, a control substrate fixing and storing part 12 to fix and store a control substrate 3 is formed on a back cover 1. The control substrate fixing and storing part 12 has a shape which is dug in the depth by the thickness of the control substrate 3 so that an inner wall of the back cover 1 circulates an outer surface of the control substrate 3. A pair of mounting recessed parts 125a, 125b wider than the control substrate 3 are provided on respective inner walls of the control substrate fixing and storing part 12 corresponding to the long side face of the control substrate 3.
