PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of suppressing radio transmission and reception call in a utilization inhibited area, without the need for user's operations. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 1 including: a first radio means 102 for transmitting/receiving a radio signal to/from a base station; a timer means 104 for generating a timing signal to take synchronization with the base station via the first radio means 102; and a control means 103 for controlling the first radio means 102 and the timer means 104, is provided with a second radio means 106 for receiving a radio transmission reception signal suppressing signal and a radio transmission reception signal suppressing release signal of the first radio means 102, and the control means 103 controls the first radio means 102 according to the radio transmission reception signal suppressing signal or the radio transmission reception signal suppressing release signal and the timing signal generated by the timer means 104 to revise the synchronization processing timing with the base station, and to suppress or release the radio transmission receiving signal.
