PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt so as to be able to agitate uniformly by powerful and complicated agitation force. SOLUTION: The subject rotation and revolution type agitator is provided with a plurality of agitation blades (10) having a rotary shaft (11) arranged in a vertical direction in an accommodation house (1) and a blade arm (10a) protruded from the rotary shaft in a diameter direction and having rigidity, and rotation driving parts (15, 27, 28 and 30) rotating and driving the rotary shaft to agitate a material to be agitated by the blade arm, wherein the plurality of agitation blades rotate and revolve in the accommodation house. In the agitation blade, a rotation track of the blade arm is reciprocally crossed and the blade arm is formed in a frame-shape to be placed side by side in a diameter direction of the accommodation house, and the outside part (10b) of the blade arm are rotated and revolved along the side wall (2) of the accommodation house. The rotation driving parts are provided with a gear mechanism (15), a concentric double-shaft and driving sources (27 and 28), the external shaft of the double-shaft revolves the agitation blade, and the inner shaft rotates the agitation blade through the gear mechanism. In the rotary shaft, a universal coupling is supportively mounted between the rotary shaft and the gear mechanism, and the shaft is supported by a plurality of bearings at the upper part.
