PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token receiving device which facilitates the alteration of the values of the tokens at a timing intentioned by a game parlor whether the tokens are already purchased or borrowed by varying the values of tokens from the date corresponding to the token value per token. SOLUTION: An IC token 66 for setting is fed into the token receiving device 2. A variation pattern for varying the value data of an IC token 65 for games stored in an electronic tag 74 built in the IC token 66 for setting is read out with an electronic tag reader 105 (S2) while a variation pattern stored in an RAM 103 is altered to the variation pattern read out (S8).
