<p>A watt-hour meter box capable of preventing illegal use of electricity comprises a base box and a lid. Protruding lugs and hooks are provided in, the lid, which can be engaged with concave holes and hooking holes in the base box, respectively. A locking assembly for the base box and the lid is provided on any part of the box. Engagement of hooks and hooking holes can be substituted by engagement of projections and sliding grooves. The base box and the lid could correspondingly be provided with lugs or holes for sealing or locking. With the said structure, the base box and lid are engaged tightly, therefore the lid can't be opened upwardly. Upon unlocking and unsealing, the lid could be taken off from the base. Thus, the anti-theft configuration with both sealing and locking can facilitate the customers for replacing and examining the switches.</p> |
