METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING CARBON DIOXIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for recovering carbon dioxide, by each of which carbon dioxide in exhaust gas can be recovered efficiently at a low cost.

SOLUTION: The method for recovering carbon dioxide comprises the steps of: sending carbon dioxide-containing exhaust gas to a carbon dioxide adsorbing unit 1 to bring the exhaust gas into contact with 0.01-24 wt.% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution; recovering carbon dioxide by adding hydrogen chloride to the obtained aqueous solution; separating sodium hydroxide and hydrogen chloride from the carbon dioxide-removed remaining liquid; regenerating the separated sodium hydroxide and hydrogen chloride; and reusing the regenerated sodium hydroxide and hydrogen chloride.
