Li-Zn GROUP FERRITE POWDER FOR WAVE ABSORBER AND THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferrite powder and a wave absorber by which wave absorbing performance in a frequency band of 1 to 4 GHz can be sharply improved.

SOLUTION: The Li-Zn group ferrite powder for the wave absorber consists of ferrite expressed by a constitutional formula ZnXLi(1-X)0.5Fe(1-X)0.5-Fe2O4(X is 0.1 to 0.8), and preferably the average grain size is ≤2 μm. The wave absorber is obtained by dispersing the powder consisting of the Li-Zn group ferrite expressed by the constitutional formula ZnXLi(1-X)0.5Fe(1-X)0.5-Fe2O4(X is 0.1 to 0.8) and having the average grain size of 2 μm and less into high molecular matrixes at a rate of 60 to 95 wt%. The wave absorber is effective when it is arranged in the vicinity of an electronic component which is used in the frequency band of 1 to 4 GHz.
