PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine with a two-shaft balancer having balancer shafts used for output to an accessory or working equipment, wherein a connection portion between the balancer shaft and an input shaft of driven equipment is effectively lubricated. SOLUTION: The engine comprises the pair of balancer shafts 3, 4 arranged in parallel to a crank shaft 2 in a crank case 1, a timing transmission device 5 arranged on the front side of the crank case 1 for connecting the crank shaft 2 in linkage with the pair of balancer shafts 3, 4, and a timing transmission case 6 arranged on the front side of the timing transmission device 5. In the engine, an engine oil pump 7 is mounted on the timing transmission case 6 in front of a first output part 3a formed at the front end of one balancer shaft 3, the input part of the engine oil pump 7 is connected to the first output part 3a, and a connection portion storage space 11 between a second output part 4a formed on an outer face portion of the timing transmission case 6 and the input shaft 13 of the driven equipment 12 is communicated with a timing transmission device storage part 14 located inside the timing transmission case 6 via an oil communication passage 15 provided open to the timing transmission case 6.
