PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic polyester/polyether imide resin composition having excellent heat resistance and transparency and a molding obtained from the same. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 60-99 parts wt. of a polyester resin (A) and 40-1 part wt. of a PEI resin (B) (100 parts wt. of the total of A+B) in which the polyester resin is composed of at least one kind of an amorphous polyester resin and a crystalline polyester resin and the ratio of the amorphous polyester resin to the crystalline polyester resin is 100:0-10:90 by weight. The molding is obtained from the resin composition. In the resin composition, even in the case of simply melting and kneading the polyester resin with the PEI resin, both the resins have no problem of mutual compatibility and the mixture provides a polymer alloy having excellent transparency without causing white turbidity due to uniform mixing.
