<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying an optimum advertisement image for each person viewing the advertisement image. <P>SOLUTION: This display device comprises: a display unit for displaying two or more images; a camera directed toward positions adopted by users viewing the display unit; a face detector for detecting human faces in images captured by the camera based on at least two face categories; and a selection unit, responsive to the a frequency of the detection of face categories by the face detector at one or more different periods, for selecting a set of images displayed on the display unit in that period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
