<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which the property relating to the film wetting of the cell can be changed without involving substantial design change of the members constituting the power generating area of the cell. <P>SOLUTION: (1) This is a fuel cell in which a stack is constructed by mixing cells having different properties and the property of the cell 19 is made different by changing the electric insulation property of the adhesive 33 used at forming the cell, and its manufacturing method. (2) The property of the cell is made different by changing the thickness of the adhesive 33. (3) The property of the cell is made different by changing the material of the adhesive 33. (4) A cell having thick adhesive is arranged at the portion of lamination where flooding of the stack easily happens.
