TONER AND DEVELOPING DEVICE USING THE SAME TONER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning when a used development cartridge is regenerated by preventing a toner and external additives from sticking on an agitating member and an internal wall of a developing device.

SOLUTION: The toner which has a 200 to 750 nm granularity distribution of primary particle sizes and also has 1st external additives made of inorganic particulates having a work function nearly equal to that of toner base particles and 2nd external additives made of inorganic particulates which have a smaller mean particle size than the 1st external additives and also has a work function smaller than those of the toner base particles and the agitating member of the developer and/or the internal wall of the developing device contains 0.01 to 0.3% metal soap having a work function nearly equal to that of the toner base particles.
