<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method in which a token is controlled in a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: The network includes a plurality of nodes interconnected so that a ring topology is formed. These nodes support data transmission on the network using the token. Since the data are transmitted and received on the network, each node may process a control message. The node receives a first token for authenticating transmission by one about a plurality of data channels, generates a transmission control message and identifying the destination node and an authenticated data channel, and notifies the next node of the transmission control message. The node notifies the next node about a second token for authenticating secondary transmission of the authenticated data channel, transmits the data by the authenticated data channel after notifying the transmission control message, and notifies the next node about the first token after notifying the next node about the second token. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
