<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, heightening the stacking performance/aligning performance of a delivered recording material, and inhibiting a recording material pressing member from constituting an obstacle to jam clearing. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes a delivery part provided with pairs of discharge rollers 22, 23 for holding and carrying the recording material S and delivering the same to the outside of a printer 100. The delivery part has a lever rotating body 26 provided with arms 26am 26b. During the standby period when the recording material S is not delivered, the arm 26a is located in a transport path for the recording material S between two pairs of delivery rollers 22, 23, and the arm 26b is located in the printer 100, and at the time of delivering the recording material, the arm 26a is turned in the direction of retreating from the transport path P at the leading end of the recording material S, and the arm 26b is turned to the outside of the printer 100 with turning of the arm 26a to thereby press down the trailing end of the recording material S delivered to the outside of the printer 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
