LAMP, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp capable of obtaining sufficient photocatalyst effect and preventing peeling of a photocatalyst film caused if the lamp is held between lamp holders, a manufacturing method for it, and a luminaire with this lamp.

SOLUTION: The photocatalyst film 8 is formed on the external surface of the light translucent discharge vessel 2 of a fluorescent lamp 1. The photocatalyst film 8 is formed on the surface excluding portions to be held between the lamp holders 36. In other words, the portions to be held by the lamp holders form the portions 8a where no photocatalyst film 8 exists.
