<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network music teaching system wherein, when a teacher asks a question of multiple choices such as YES/NO, a student can answer the question by using an MIDI musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A student terminal 3 is provided with an MIDI keyboard, and the content of performance by the student is transmitted to a teacher terminal 1 via a server 2 to be evaluated by the teacher. The evaluation is transmitted from the teacher terminal 1 to the student terminal 3 via the server 2. When the teacher asks a question of multiple choices, an answer operator corresponding to each choice is assigned to a key of the MIDI keyboard.
