<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for inexpensively ensuring high security. <P>SOLUTION: The security system comprises: a reading means for forming a dot pattern on a medium such as a card or a sticker and optically reading the dot pattern; a converting means for performing conversion from the dot pattern read by the reading means into a code; an authentication table for registering a true value corresponding to the code; a determining means for comparing the code obtained by the converting means with the true value read from the authentication table, so as to determine the authentic value; and an output means for outputting the determination result of the determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
