<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device having high resolution and S/N ratio in which the size of the device itself can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The surface acoustic wave device outputting an inputted electrical signal while delaying comprises a piezoelectric substrate 21, and crossed-finger electrodes 22A, 22B, 22C, 22D and 22E provided on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate 21. The piezoelectric substrate 21 intersects the surface provided with the crossed-finger electrodes perpendicularly and has an end face 21a parallel with the electrode fingers A, B, C, D and E of the crossed-finger electrodes 22A, 22B, 22C, 22D and 22E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
