PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which is hardly affected by a step of a cell gap and stably realizes conduction between a common electrode and a common electrode connection part. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device includes a sticking stage of forming a liquid crystal cell by sticking together an array substrate as a 1st substrate having the common electrode connection part 3 on its surface and a color filter substrate as a 2nd substrate having the common electrode on its surface under pressure of≤0.1 MPa so that the common electrode connection part 3 and common electrode 4 face each other and a mixture arranging stage of arranging a mixture obtained by mixing conductive particles 8 whose surfaces are covered with insulating materials with resin of a sealant 12 over the common electrode connection part 3.
