PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device for enabling a user to arbitrarily set the setting contents of a hot key operation for switching the connection destination of an input/output device to a desired computer and a computer system equipped with this switching device. SOLUTION: This switching device 1 for switching the connection destination of an input/output device to any one of a plurality of computers according to a hot key operation in the input/output device is provided with a setting means 11 for setting the setting contents of the hot key operation for switching the connection destination of the input/output device to a desired computer according to the key operation in the input/output device and a storage means 12 for storing the setting contents of the hot key operation set by the setting means 11.
