PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a processed image by considering a visual property in conducting shading process of the image. SOLUTION: The image processing device includes an image memory element for storing a color of each pixel of an image. The image memory element includes a RGB-YCrCb converter 4 for converting a RGB pixel value input in the image memory element into a YCrCb pixel value, a color data shading computing element 9 for shading to the YCrCb pixel value converted by the RGB-YCrCb converter 4, and a YCrCb-RGB converter 8 for converting the YCrCb pixel value shaded by the color data shading computing element 9 into the RGB pixel value.
