PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient system comprising a facsimile apparatus and an information processor, where an attachment file can be visually outputted in the facsimile apparatus even if the facsimile apparatus receives the attachment file having a format to which the facsimile apparatus does not respond by an electronic mail. SOLUTION: The facsimile apparatus comprises a conversion request means for requesting conversion to a file format corresponding to an own machine, by transmitting the attachment file included in a received electronic mail to the information processor of a conversion request destination; and a conversion request result mail processing means for receiving an electronic mail transmitted to an own device from the information processor of the conversion request destination corresponding to the conversion request by the conversion request means, and for visually outputting the attachment file in the file format corresponding to the own machine included in the received electronic mail in a prescribed format.
