PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine which improves the utilization factor of a plate member by using a split rotor core, and which is lightweight and suitable for high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: The rotor 14a of the dynamo-electric machine has a rotor core 18a, consisting of twelve pieces of fan-shaped split rotor cores 16a, where thin steel plates are stacked in the axial direction, and the first fixing member 20a, which fixes the twelve pieces of split rotor cores 16a so that they are in a cylindrical form. The split rotor core 16a has a pole penetrating part 58a extending in the axial direction. The first fixing member 20a is equipped with a disc 24a, which is provided at one end face in the axial direction of the rotor core 18a, and twelve pieces of first poles 26 which extend axially, from the disc 42a and are press-fitted in the pole-penetrating parts 58a.
