PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper dust removal mechanism for a paper feeding device, in which paper dust is attached to a circumferential surface of a supply paper roller, in which extreme deterioration of carrying ability of the supply paper roller is prevented, and in which periodic paper dust removal work is not necessary. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a paper dust removal brush 9 applied to the circumferential surface of the supply paper roller to scrape paper dust P from the circumferential surface of the supply paper roller 2, and a paper dust carrying means to carry scraped paper dust P to a recovering box 15. The recovering box 15 to recover paper dust P and a suction fan 16 fixed to the recovering box 15 to generate suction force are provided. Paper dust P scraped by the paper dust removal brush 9 from the surface of the supply paper roller 2 is recovered by suction force generated by the suction fan 16 through a paper dust carrying means into the recovering box 15.
