PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap sterilizing device capable of making installation space compact in size, and enhancing a sterilizing capacity. SOLUTION: Container tumbling means 10A and 10B to tumble containers 4 are arranged on both sides of a conveyor 6 to continuously carry the containers 4. The container tumbling means are alternately tilted backwardly, and have guide rails 26A and 26B engaged with a flange 4c of the container 4 to hoist the container 4, and a barrel support guide 18 to support a barrel 4a of the container 4. A rotary stopper 8 is provided which feeds the containers 4 to the container tumbling means 10A and 10B, and stops the succeeding containers 4. The containers 4 of the predetermined number are fed to one container tumbling means 10A and tilted backwardly. The other container tumbling means 10B which remains tembled is erected. The container 4 sterilized by the container tumbling means 10B is discharged by the conveyor 6, and the next container 4 is successively fed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
