PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch container reduced in size as compared with that of a bottom gazette type pouch container and showing a superior self-standing stability. SOLUTION: This pouch container comprises a container body 10 formed into a bag shape by external sheets 11a, 11b and gazette sheets 12, 12, and a spout 20 installed at the container body 10. The bottom part of the container body 10 is formed with a central leg part 10A and both side legs 10B, 10B by recessing lower ends of the external sheets 11a, 11b and the gazette sheets 12, 12 heat sealed to each other. They are inclined in an opposite direction to each other by folding the central leg 10A to its rear side and by folding both side legs 10B, 10B to their front side. Both side legs 10B, 10B are formed by the external sheet 11b and the gazette sheets 12, 12.
