PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor of high reliability equipped with an oil pump 130 lowered little in the quantity of conveyance even in low-speed operation. SOLUTION: The compressor is provided with a shaft 117 rotated with its lower end vertically extending into oil 101, and the oil pump 130 formed at the lower end of the shaft 117. The oil pump 130 is provided with a cylindrical cavity part formed at the lower end of the shaft 117; a sleeve supported coaxially with the shaft 117 and rotatably disposed in the cylindrical cavity part; and an oil head means 132 supported coaxially with the shaft 117 and rotated together with the shaft 117. Further, an oil sealing means is provided between the cylindrical cavity part and the sleeve. A leakage from an oil passage can thereby be reduced, and the quantity of oil conveyance to a compression element 110 is secured to obtain an effect of providing the compressor of high reliability.
