PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for easily measuring as part temperature extending from a frozen condition to thawing. SOLUTION: This method for measuring temperature when thawing frozen food comprises preparing a temperature sensor having a form capable of being inserted into the frozen food with thawing of the frozen food, pushing the temperature sensor on the surface of the frozen food with prescribed pressure, and thawing the frozen food in the condition. The pressure for pushing the temperature sensor makes the temperature sensor contact the surface of the frozen food in a frozen condition, go into the inside of the frozen food with the progress of thawing and finally reach the central part thereof.
