The 3/2 valve, with a two-part housing (1), has a closure body (32) with at least one pressure equalizing opening (49). When the closure body is against a first valve seat (25) the pressure is equalized at the closure body so that the pressure at the inlet (6) acts on the part-surfaces (37,38) of the closure body towards and away from the valve seat. The two part-surfaces have identical dimensions. The closure body has a seal (40) towards the valve seat, and a membrane (44) on the side away from the valve seat towards the core (17) of an electromagnet (16).
