The invention relates to a method for management of data processing with conditional access, by means of at least two decoders, provided for a user. Said decoders comprise activation/deactivation means for the processing of data with conditional access and local communication means embodied to permit a communication between said decoders of the user. The methods comprises a receiving step by the local communication means (10) of a first decoder (STB), for at least one message from at least one second decoder (STB), provided for said user, a determination step of the minimum number of different decoders for said user from which said first decoder should receive messages and a comparison step between the number of different decoders from which said first decoder has received a message and the minimum number of decoders from which the first decoder should receive a message. The data processing with conditional access for said first decoder (STB) is deactivated if said decoder has not received messages from the required number of decoders.
