<p>PURPOSE: A quartz vibrator and a method for manufacturing the clad lid for use in a quartz vibrator are provided to implement the ultra miniaturization and slim of the quartz vibrator by making the overall thickness of the quartz vibrator thin. CONSTITUTION: A quartz vibrator(1) includes a ceramic insulator(11), an electrode circuit(12), a multi-layered case(10), a quartz vibrator piece(30) and a clad lid(20). The electrode circuit(12) is connected to the electrodes by receiving the quartz vibrator piece(30) in the multi-layered case(10) between the ceramic insulators(11). The clad lid(20) is connected to the case(10). The quartz vibrator(1) is characterized in that a nickel coating layer and a gold coating layer are subsequently formed on the outside of the lid(20), a conjunction layer(21) is formed on the bottom of the lid(20) and the conjunction layer(21) is attached to the top of the case(10) by thermally pressing the lid(20), wherein the conjunction layer(21) is made of a metal alloy which is consisted of 77¯78% of Bi, 1¯12 weight % of Ag, 0.01¯2 weight % of Ge and 0.01¯5 weight % of In.</p> |
