<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus having many functions for referring to parameters in execution and enabling a user easily to select a function of setting a parameter. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus (1) is provided with an operating section (16) including a touch panel and ten keys, a display unit (17) for displaying an operating screen, a corresponding storage (18) for storing functions and numbers so that they are correlated, and a screen storage (19) for storing the display mode of the operating section. The apparatus (1) previously stores the functions and numbers inputted by operations of the ten keys in the storage (18) so that they are correlated, and when a number is entered by the operation of the ten keys, the function corresponding to the entered number is selected. Also, selections of a plurality of functions are accepted, and operating screens for setting the parameters of the functions are integrally displayed on the display section (17).
