<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming device with high electric power generation efficiency, by which the feed of a fuel and the exhaust of a reformed gas are performed well and the heat transfer to a vessel for housing a fuel reformer is effectively suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The vessel 11 for housing a fuel reformer is equipped with the following: a base 1 having a recessed part to house a platy fuel reformer 9; a cover 4; a feed tube 5a which feeds a fuel to the fuel reformer 9 and penetrates at least either of the base 1 and the cover 4, of which the tip is connected to the fuel reformer 9, and which fixes the fuel reformer 9 floated in the space between the cover 4 and the bottom surface of the recessed part; and a discharging tube 5b which discharge a reformed gas and penetrates at least either of the base 1 and the cover 4, of which the tip is connected to the fuel reformer 9, and which fixes the fuel reformer 9 floated in a space between the cover 4 and the bottom surface of a recessed part. The fuel reformer 9 is fixed so that its main face is parallel to the bottom face of the recessed part, and at least either of the feed tube 5a and the discharging tube 5b penetrates the side wall of the base 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
