摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus capable of precisely carrying out transmission of uplink data with a large capacity and reception of downlink data. <P>SOLUTION: The optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus 1 acquires large capacity data from a navigation apparatus 10 and stores the data to a RAM 8, when the optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus 1 enters a coverage area of an optical beacon on-road apparatus 20, when the optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus 1 uplinks the data of a small capacity containing the vehicle ID of own vehicle, and thereafter the optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus 1 can confirm the data denoting reception of the uplink data in the downlink data from the optical beacon on-road apparatus 20, the optical beacon on-vehicle apparatus 1 selects the data having a size corresponding to the vehicle speed at that time among the large capacity data in the RAM 8, according to a vehicle-dependent uplink data selection table 3 of higher priority, uplinks the selected data to the optical beacon on-road apparatus 20, and thereafter receives the downlink data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
