<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a tact time by efficiently recognizing a part held by a mounting head. <P>SOLUTION: This surface mounting machine is constituted so as to suck the part from a part supplier 4 by a head unit 6 and mounts it on a printed board 3. Between the part supplier 4 and the printed board 3, imaging units 20 and 21 are provided with a movable table 25 movable in the direction of an X axis. Cameras 26a and 26b with an incorporated line sensor are loaded to the movable table 25. During mounting work, before the completion of part suction work by the head unit 6, the movable table 25 is arranged between the position and a first part mounting position. After sucking the part, the head unit 6 is moved relatively in the direction of the X axis on the movable table 25, thereby controlling driving operation of the head unit 6 and the movable table 25 so as to image the suction part by respective cameras 26a and 26b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
