<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily confirming whether or not automatic performance which a user intends is performed by performance data indicating the automatic performance of music. <P>SOLUTION: A generation period calculation part 308 receives each of the performance data and tone data from a performance data processing part 303 and a tone data processing part 307. The generation period calculation part 308 generates a waveform envelope of music sound to be uttered according to note data included in the performance data based on the tone data corresponding to the note data and transmits the waveform envelope to a display processing part 304 together with note-on timing data indicating an utterance starting period of the music sound.
