<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensing filter capable of reducing moire in a liquid crystal display device while increasing condensing effect. <P>SOLUTION: The condensing filter 16b has a plurality of prisms 162b to 162o formed on a top surface of a transparent plane substrate 161 and on the opposite surface from the top surface and condenses light from a light source by the prisms 162b to 162o; and the prisms 162b to 162o formed on the top surface are in a linear shape extending in an X direction on the top surface and arrayed in a Y direction crossing the X direction at right angles and the prisms 162b to 162o formed on the opposite surface are in a linear shape extending in the Y direction on the opposite surface and arrayed in the X direction, the prisms 162b to 162o formed on the top surface and the prisms 162b to 162o formed on the opposite surface being irregularly arrayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
