<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a containing tray for a coupling part of an optical fiber in which the optical coupling part can be surely and easily held. <P>SOLUTION: A containing tray 1 for a coupling part of an optical fiber includes, on a tray bottom wall 7, holders 6, 6 capable of holding a plurality of optical coupling parts 3 each resulting from optically coupling optical fibers 2, each of the holders 6 includes a base portion 15 and a plurality of holding corrugated plates 16 aligned in one end of the base portion 15. The holder 6 is freely turned around another end of the base portion 15. A gap larger than the diameter of the optical fiber 2 is provided between the corrugated plates 16 and the tray bottom wall 7, and the gap becomes a margin length containing part 14 for a margin length portion 4 of the optical fiber 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
