PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for caustic reduction processing of a polyester-based fabric, with which the concentration of a caustic reduction agent is decreased, a processing time is shortened, processing unevenness is improved and stable processing is carried out even in dry-heat treatment without using a caustic reduction promoter in subjecting a polyester-based fabric to caustic reduction processing. SOLUTION: The method for producing a polyester-based fabric comprises carrying out caustic reduction processing by providing a polyester-based fabric with≥20 wt.% and≤150 wt.% of a processing solution containing≥10 wt.% of a glycol-based compound followed by a heat treatment.
