PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of adjusting the color balance of a display panel. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 1 is provided with a gamma correction circuit 5a including: a gamma correction data output circuit 11a for outputting a plurality of gamma correction data, respectively, as to each of RGB colors; a plurality of registers 12<SB>1</SB>to 12<SB>m</SB>for receiving and latching a plurality of the gamma correction data; and a plurality of D/A converters (DACs) 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>m</SB>for converting the data of the plurality of registers 12<SB>1</SB>to 12<SB>m</SB>into analog voltages and providing outputs of gamma correction setting voltages VI<SB>1</SB>to VI<SB>m</SB>. The apparatus is also provided with a source driver 6 that receives image data and provides an output of a corrected image voltage by selecting the gamma correction setting voltages corresponding to the image data or interpolation voltages of them, and the display panel 7 whose gate lines to which a plurality of display elements each in a single color are connected are driven by a gate driver 8 and whose source lines receive the corrected image voltages from the source driver 6.
